After a long day of Realtor-ing, nothing beats coming home, getting cozy, and watching movies under your coziest blanket. On these movie nights, I (Lisa) always have popcorn and a bottle of Cabernet on hand, while Sammi has some healthy snacks and whiskey poured in a glass.
We wanted to share all the cozy vibes with our homebodies out there so we put together 4 Perfect “Fall Movie Nights” – let us know which one you are choosing!? We paired, a movie, candle for ambience, favorite snack and drink of choice on tap!
Movie Night #1: Rustic and cozy
Outdoor movie for 2 – Wear your coziest socks and pjs! Turn on Hocus Pocus, light Witches Brew candle from Yankee Candle, drink a homemade “Midnight Margarita”, and munch on chocolate cake from Trader Joe’s.
Movie Night #2: Fall Romance
Pairs well with your significant other. Lights off, fireplace on! Press play on You’ve Got Mail, light Sweet Water Decor, Farmhouse scented candle and shake up a caramel apple martini. For our snack, start with a cheese board followed by chocolate drizzled caramel corn! I also prefer to order a cheeseboard to-go so check out The Cheese Gal or Anzie Blue! And don’t forget extra blankets!
Movie Night #3: Haunted & Boujee
This night is all about being at a haunted 5 Star resort! Light your boujee-ist fall candle..(Pumpkin Clove from Anthropologie is a great option). Pour a big glass of juicy Cab and snack on freshly popped popcorn drizzled with olive oil and sprinkled with sea salt (dark chocolate truffles on the side). For the movie, this is where the “haunted” comes in! Turn on your favorite spooky flick, Strangers is one of my favorites.. but it must be followed by a full season of The Office or Shitt’s Creek before bed so I don’t have nightmares!
Movie Night #4: Family Night!
Grab the kids – and get everyone in their matching cozy pajamas. Start by carving pumpkins and then order a pizza from the local pizza joint (we love NY Pie in West Nashville). If you are feeling really fancy – make some root beer floats! Light up the carved pumpkins with small candles – and turn on ‘It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown’. A true classic.
Which is your movie night of choice? If you can’t decide, the good news is you can have them all!
