8 Reasons to Move to Nashville TN

Reasons to Move to Nashville TN

There are so many reasons to move to Nashville. Here are eight of the Nashville on the Market Group’s favorites.

1. Nashville is a big city with a small town feel – I am always meeting new peop8 Reasons to Move to Nashvillele but also constantly running into familiar faces. It definitely makes for good networking and creating friendships.

2. The Biscuits. Yes, I’m sorry it’s true. Southern biscuits are the best thing ever. From the classic Loveless Cafe to the new brick and mortar Biscuit Love, you can always find a perfectly soft biscuit in Nashville. If that is not reason enough to move here, I don’t know what is. And not only that, we have Hattie B’s hot chicken, amazing BBQ joints, Jeni’s Ice Cream, and the list goes on.. We have no shortage of amazing food & restaurants.

3. Southern charm with modern amenities – Nashville is the best of both worlds. We have our southern flare but we still offer everything any city slicker needs.

4. Live music – everywhere. Honestly just drive down Broadway with the windows down. From songwriter nights, shows at the Ryman, smaller venues like 3rd & Lindsley/Exit In/Mercy Lounge/etc all the way to huge productions at Bridgestone, if you want to listen to live music you can find it here.

5. The people – you can actually walk down the street and people smile and say how are you? We Nashvillians take this for granted – trust me I have been the girl smiling and saying hi to people who look at me like I’m crazy in other cities. However, Nashville is a melting pot of friendly and inspiring people.

6. Always something to do. From wandering around Cheekwood to visiting the Corsair Distillery, attending festivals in East Nashville or catching a new or classic movie at the Belcourt Theatre, from going to a Predators game to having a picnic at Arrington Vineyards. If you want something to do, there is always something going on!

7. The history – we have lots of it from the Hermitage to Country Music Hall of Fame. Also, you can’t forget we even have a full size replica of the Parthenon, so if you want to get up close and personal to Athena there is no need to cross the Atlantic.

8. Always a little pocket neighborhood to explore – East Nashville, Edgehill Village, 12 South, Germantown, the Gulch, downtown Franklin.. the list goes on and they are filled with amazing shops, restaurants, and beautiful parks. Always somewhere new to explore!
