Everything is Better With Bacon: Best Nashville Bacon Dishes

Well, what more can we say, everyone loves bacon – so we thought we would create a list of the best Nashville Bacon Dishes! That way you can have bacon for breakfast, lunch, dinner and to drink! 🙂

Mmmmmm

Tupelo Honey’s Bacon-Bourbon Jam

I was once asked if I liked mustard, “sure” and if  I liked peanut butter “mmhhmm”, then why not put them together? This coming from someone who was eating a peanut butter and mustard sandwich. While those two opposites seem a little crazy, let’s talk about Tupelo Honey’s Bacon-Bourbon jam. Do I like bacon… why yes I do, and jam, who doesn’t?  Why not put them together and serve it warm? AMEN. If you haven’t tried Tupelo Honey, it’s worth the visit to put that jam on whatever you order. While it is served with their Seersucker steak and eggs (two thumbs up on that), they will bring you a side out on request. Now I can’t just throw fried food down my throat and not pay the consequence so I will order their fried chicken salad with grilled chicken and then dip it in the bacon-jam, yes I said that. Other notable options are the Tupelo Honey fresh burger (add the fried egg to that… trust me), bottomless mac-n-cheese (served Wednesday nights) and crispy brussels. Visit http://tupelohoneycafe.com/location/franklin-tn/menu/ for more information.

Biscuit Love’s “Chronic Bacon”

Biscuit Love serves an AMAZING side of bacon called CHRONIC BACON. This thick cut bacon is slathered in brown sugar and pepper before it is fried.. talk about an amazing combination of spicy and sweet. For more information about Biscuit Love check out their menu here: http://biscuitlove.com/menu/

Five Daughter’s King Kong Maple Bacon Donut

Five Daughter’s was a small family owned business that is seriously a staple here now here in Nashville. If you ever get the chance you need to try one of their 100 LAYER DONUT which they describe as “the Five Daughters Bakery version of a cronut. It is a delicious hybrid of a croissant and a donut, and takes up to three days to craft this decadent creation.” And if given the choice – GO FOR THE KING KONG MAPLE BACON” – you won’t be disappointed.

Patterson House Bacon Old Fashion

Tucked in midtown lies the ever popular Patterson House. With a great Speakeasy feel and amazing drinks – this is a great place to grab a cocktail. And why not include Bacon in that cocktail with their House Bacon Old Fashion? ALCOHOL + BACON + The Patterson House = Enough Said.
