Our city’s greenways make our communities more livable and can even help increase your property’s value!
A neighborhood’s amenities would traditionally include things like a pool, playground, and easy access to the grocery store. Now more than ever, “urban trails”, otherwise known as greenways, are a highly sought after amenity that helps attract buyers and sell properties. In fact, I was recently speaking with a couple that stated the No. 1 reason they bought their home was because it connected directly to Brentwood’s greenway.
HEALTH BENEFITS
Greenways provide us the opportunity for families to lead more active lives right out their front/back door. Studies have shown that as little as 30 minutes a day of moderate activity can have a dramatically positive impact on a person’s mental and physical health and can prevent certain diseases. Nashville Greenways offer a safe, automobile-free environment to connect with nature, family and friends. Below is a list of some of Middle Tennessee’s best Greenway Systems. For a closer look at the homes with easy access to these great trail systems, contact Nashville on the Market’s Lisa Stigliano or Sammi Hoffman.
1. City of Brentwood Greenways – Five different greenways scattered across the city. They’re located in the following areas: Maryland Way, Moores Lane, Moores Lane East, Split Log and Wilson Pike. 18+ miles-
