Spoiler alert: The Greater Nashville market is still crazy out there!!
There were 2,919 home sales in Feb 2021 which is 4% increase from last February. The average number of days on market in Feb 2021 was only 28 days and the median price point was $357,150 in all of Greater Nashville, compared to last year that was only 320k. Now in regards to inventory, last year in 2020 there were 9,093 houses avialable and this year there was only 4,477! That is a huge drop.
The President of GNR Brian Copeland said: “These inventory numbers compared to last year are a direct result of sellers not having the options they want in their own marketplace to move and the effect COVID-19 has had on how we remodel and improve our personal homes to make them truly the place we want to be.”
