Nashville Christmas Lights

It is about to be that time of year again – so here is our favorite post of the year! PLEASE send us your favorite Nashville Christmas Lights displays at lisa@nashvilleonthemarket.com

One of my favorite things to do this time of year – is to grab some hot chocolate and drive around and see the best Nashville Christmas Lights. So this year I decided to put together a list of my favorites to share with you.

Hoover Lights

The Franklin Christmas Organization began with the Hoover family driving around looking at Christmas lights. The young boy – Chad Hoover – fell in love with idea of lights dancing around to music and started to research how to make it happen at their home. Flash forward and they have created a Christmas light display in Chapel Hill, TN with over 80,000 lights. Viewers are able to watch and listen in their cars as the lights dance to music.. The goal of the organization is to bring the community together.

Cheekwood Christmas Holiday Lights

LOCATION: 1200 Forrest Park Dr, Nashville, TN 37205

HOURS: November 20 – Jan 9 From 5-10 PM

These you have to get outside your car for – so bundle up! Take the most beautiful stroll on the grounds with 1 MILLION twinkling lights lighting your way!  There is a S’MORES pit (that won me over), sweet shops, drinks for purchase (including hot toddies), carolers, and more! This is a display you don’t want to miss! You can buy tickets online and the prices range depending on day of the week but are around $20 for adults and $15 for kids.

Gaylord Opryland Resort

Nov. 12, 2021 – Jan. 2, 2022

Lights are FREE to see, other activities do have separate charges.

Acres of twinkling lights cover the Opry Land Hotel both inside and out and exciting holiday activities, shows, and events, from ice tubing and ice skating!
