Nashville deems real estate an essential service

The mayor of Nashville just issued the Safer at Home Executive Order and has in fact deemed real estate services an essential service:

Housing and rental services may continue, but agents should practice social distancing, hold no open houses, or gather in groups larger than 10. Although housing definitely is essential for the community, we encourage brokers, agents and offices to follow the CDC, State of Tennessee and Metro Nashville guidelines closely to ensure the safety and health of you and your clients while performing the essential needs for housing in our community.

Sammi and I have spoken in depth about the current situation and really believe that we are here to serve our community and our clients. For one -public safety is our main priority so we will following all guidelines by the CDC, state and local authorities and be implementing our own safety/health measures that go above and beyond these guidelines to protect all parties.

Similarly, we know this isn’t going to be an easy time to close a real estate transaction and may face many hurdles. We pride ourselves on being problem solvers and really advocating for our clients. We know we can truly be of service and do everything we can to help you during these uncertain times. We want to be transparent and let you know that everyone is just now figuring out how to navigate this new normal but we will be by your side and do everything in our power to help you buy or sell a home.

Let us prove how essential we are.
