According to the Wall Street Journal, Nashville is the 2nd hottest job market, following only Austin, TX. The top cities were all mid-sized cities, states had low to no income tax, and have climate that allowed for outdoor activities year round. We have been saying this for years, that people and businesses are still flocking to Nashville.. so the demand for real estate is not going anywhere.
Nashville homes selling faster than anywhere else.
RE/MAX came out with a report spotlighting that Nashville homes are selling faster than in any other major market. Nashville homes were on the market for an average of 11 days, which is the shortest time among the cities the company analyzed. As real estate agents, we see how quickly the market is moving and you don’t want to get left behind.
We hear a lot of people saying they are going to wait until the market “cools down”, just based on these two reports and what we see daily we aren’t seeing that happen – at least any time soon. The demand is still high and people continue to move here.
