Nashville on the Market Monthly: October
It is finally the month of Halloween (Is it just us? We love Halloween!). We wanted to let you know of some of our favorite things happening in Greater Nashville this month and a little real estate news.
October Happenings in Nashville
October 3 – Family Day in Franklin – Harlinsdale Farm
October 9 – 11 There are two great options either Oktoberfest in Germantown – including 5k Bier Run! OR The Southern Festival of Books. Whichever one you choose will say a lot about you.
October 17 – Barktoberfest 12-5pm at Harlinsdale Farm – Go out and celebrate your pup!
October 17 12-5pm Tennessee Wine and Beer Festival
October 17 – SoundHarvest Music Festival – Flaming Lips? Yes please.
October 23 – 24 – 7-11 pm – Hauntanel Hayride and Trails at the Fontanel (get your spooky on!)

Neighborhood Spotlight: Buena Vista Neighborhood – with prices high in Germantown and high demand to be apart of the community – neighboring area Buena Vista will be seeing an influx of development. We recently sold a beautiful new construction home in the area that was spotlighted in the Tennessean and Lisa was interviewed on the growth in the area. Check out the article here.
Another area to watch is Thompson’s Station. With the new Graystone Quarry Amphitheater – there will definitely be some economic growth that will influence the housing market.
The Greater Nashville real estate market has ended strong this summer! August closings for 2015 were 3,770 which was a 16.7% increase from August 2014 with only 3,226 closings. It has definitely been a hot market this year and we will keep you updated on the market trends this fall going into winter.
Nashville on the Leash: Pup of the Month
