Our Favorite Picnic Spots in Greater Nashville

How relaxing does it sound to lay out a blanket under a big, shady tree, sip sparkling waters and graze on a cheese board? Here are our favorite picnic spots in the Nashville area:

Arrington Vineyards – There is no better place for a picnic than Arrington Vineyards. And you can grab a bottle of their wine or frosé! You really don’t feel like you are in Nashville anymore.. so it is well worth the drive.. and did we mention it has WINE?

Centennial Park – such a great place in Downtown Nashville for a picnic, with the Parthenon replica.. my suggestion is to grab some Greek food to-go (Greko Greek Street Food is a good go-to!), a blanket and picnic like you are in Athens!

The Park at Harlinsdale – Okay this is located in Franklin and has a dog park and lots of beautiful areas for a picnic. It is also right across the street from the Factory – so grab your pup, some tacos from Mojo’s Tacos AND a to-go margarita and set up out there!

Cheekwood – This one has an entry fee but it is well worth it for exploring the gardens! And it is perfect to bring the kids with a whole kids section and the most amazing model train exhibit my toddler is obsessed with. I love Cheekwood so much that we have a membership, so bring a picnic and find a beautiful spot in the gardens!

Where are your favorite picnic spots or to-go restaurants for a picnic!?
